I particularly like your advice about not delaying tune-ups. I used to do this before but I’ve learned my lesson.

These tips are really important in reducing car expenses. 1) Two engine motor mounts - $750
2) Inner CV Joints - $950
3) Last motor mount and a new/reman transmission - $4700
Total - $6400 - $300 in deductibles = $6100 saved.
I realize its a bet you won't need it, but my extended warranty paid off in spades.

I purchased an extended warranty for $900.
