Have you noticed the new little icon at the bottom of the Own The Dollar posts? Probably not, but check it out. A new social media site called Tip’d just started last week, and it is only for finance and money stories. You, the reader, can submit your favorite articles and postings to Tip’d, read what others have found across the blogosphere, and vote the stories up or down like other general social media sites like Digg or StumbleUpon.
There are too many great personal finance blogs out there to keep track of. I wish that I could subscribe to them all, but I can barely keep up with all the great postings that my favorite thirty produce everyday. Tip’d lets you see the best and newest finance stories and tips out there, and it’s only about my favorite subject….money! Tip’d is broken down into finance categories such as stocks, economy, commodities, currencies, funds and ETFs, personal finance, real estate, tech, green, and private equity and VC.
To submit a story that you like, you can visit the “Submit” page or you can click on the icon at the end of each Own The Dollar posting.
